i woke up 2 hours ago (midnight) to aj’s ‘adis, adis!  adiiis, adiiis!’  (aj is 2)
i went outside to check. ginigising niya si aris,  yung nagpapatulog ang tulog, hahaha!!

aj again, standing by the door (paalis kami), a few weeks ago, and looking at us:
‘mom! dad! guys! move!’

i have seen one too many deaths in my profession.  young.  old.  for many different reasons.  some i accept, some i don’t.
some stick to my mind, some i forget.
my first tears.  one death, a little girl, with benign febrile convulsions.  i took care of her for 9 days  in the philippines.  when i next [...]
